About Me

I've spent years being the person behind the scenes making things work.

Find the Right Next Step See how I can help

How I got here

Long before I specialised in systems and automation, I was the person keeping track of the details.

I've worked across executive support, project management and business operations since 2012, including as an Executive VA supporting people at a very senior level. One of them was Baroness Newlove, in Parliament.

I also worked at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority during Andy Burnham's time as Mayor (yes, now the Prime Minister), helping deliver programmes that supported local residents into employment.

Which means I know what happens when a business has a lot of moving parts.

I also know how quickly those moving parts can end up living inside one person's head.

My project management and EA background taught me to look beyond the individual task.

What happens before this? What happens afterwards? Who needs to know? What could go wrong? Why are we doing it this way in the first place?

That way of thinking is what led me into systems and automation.

And then into ChatGPT Ads, because there's no point building a brilliant follow-up system if the right people never find you. So now I help with both. Get found. Reply fast. Follow up properly.

The business, not just the buttons

I love GoHighLevel.

But I'm not interested in creating an elaborate automation just because technically I can.

I want to understand how your business actually works.

  • What does your client need?
  • Where are you getting involved unnecessarily?
  • What's being duplicated?
  • What are you repeatedly having to remember?
  • And is the solution you're asking me for actually the simplest way to solve the problem?

Sometimes automation is the answer.
Sometimes something needs simplifying first.
And sometimes a human absolutely should stay involved.

The technology should support the business. The business shouldn't have to bend itself around the technology.

Proud Mancunian

Life outside GoHighLevel

I'm Jennifer, but most people call me Jen.

I'm a proud Mancunian, so getting to see Oasis live will forever sit very high on my list of excellent life decisions.

Dance has been a huge part of my life. An injury meant giving up the potential career I once had ahead of me, but you're still unlikely to keep me away from dancing for very long.

My first ever festival was Tomorrowland in Belgium. Set the standards high and peaked. I've still made it to Creamfields twice since.

I'm hugely family-oriented. I'm one of two sisters (the more challenging one, which I maintain is an entrepreneurial trait), I recently became an auntie for the first time, and I'm Aunty Glam to all my friends' kids.

And then there's Ronnie, my dog, who I suspect considers himself a fairly important member of the business.

There have been a few chapters. But one thing has stayed pretty consistent through all of them:

I like making complicated things feel simpler.
